Announcements

The Diocesan Annual Appeal 2008 is still underway.
As you can see we are just $314.71 from meeting our parish goal. If you have not yet made your pledge, please prayerfully consider doing so. Thank you.

Please join the St. Mary’s Europanthers for
Dad’s All –You-Can Eat Belgian Waffles
Sunday, November 16 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
All the proceeds will go to students traveling to Ireland in 2009.

Food Drive will be held November 19 from 6:30-7:30 PM. All youth groups in Schaller and Early will canvas both towns. This is a mandatory class for CCD students. They will be going door to door to help collect the items needed to replenish the Local Food Pantry. (Schaller students will collect in Schaller; Early students will collect in Early.

The Sacred Heart Guild will host a reception at the Sacred Heart Parish Center,
November 23 after the 8 AM Mass, for the Confirmation Candidates
who were Confirmed Oct. 18, 2008 at St. Mary’s in Storm Lake.
All are welcome to attend.

The Hospice Memorial Service will be Sunday, December 7th at 3:00PM at the
Presbyterian Church in Sac City. Memorial Stars and/or Appreciation Hearts
can be purchased or renewed for $5.00. Deadline will be November 21st.

In the past we have not had a consistent perpetual care policy for the upkeep of our Sacred Heart Cemetery. So, to ensure perpetual care for our cemetery we are asking for your help and support in this matter. To continue to provide proper care for our cemetery, an envelope marked "CEMETERY UPKEEP" was been placed in your bulletin last weekend for you to place your donation in. Please help keep our cemetery beautiful and a fitting memorial to our deceased loved ones. Thank you and God bless you for your care and concern!

There are special envelopes for Christmas Flowers. If you would like to remember loved ones living or deceased this Christmas season please write their names on the envelopes
and put them in the weekend collection.
Poinsettias will be purchased for the church in memory of your loved ones.

Facilities Rental

Sacred Heart Rental Facilities Our Parish Center facility is available for renting. There is a gymnasium with stage, classrooms, kitchen, easy access to restrooms, and handicap-accessible entrance to the building.

Sacred Heart School Aerial ViewThe air-conditioned Parish center is suitable year-round for wedding receptions, showers, family and school reunions, plays, commercial pursuits, basketball tournaments plus others. Chairs and tables are available. Space can be allocated for large or small groups.
